How are you getting your daily vitamins?

When people take vitamins, the vitamins don’t specifically do it. They enable the body to do it, they enable the body to heal itself. This is a totally different way of looking at it.

Dr. Andrew Saul

Let’s talk about vitamins. Not to sound like a mom or anything but are you taking your vitamins? As I am approaching my mid 20s unfortunately, it appears that it’s no longer appropriate to take all my vitamins in gummy form. I mean I can, but at some point I guess I’ll have to grow up. To get to the point vitamins are essential. They are organic compounds that we as human need in very small amounts. Did you know that, most vitamins need to come from food because the body either does not produce them, or produces a very little amount? There are currently 13 recognized vitamins that vary in different benefits to your body. While I highly doubt everyone out there is eating a perfectly balanced diet, vitamins most certainly do not replace that. You still will need to eat healthy and stay in shape to get the full effect. Sorry to break that to you but it’s something you should consider doing some research on and finding a line up that is tailored specifically to you.

I recently have gotten so much better about getting back into taking care of my body again. We all have our times where we slack off a bit, and hopefully bounce back. The crazy thing is, if you listen to your body it will tell you what it needs in a variety of different ways. Bones aching, feeling a cold coming on, head aches, thirst, energy level and just about any sensation that comes on. I started taking my vitamins super seriously about 2 years ago, and let me tell you it has changed a lot for me. My mood improves, my energy levels improve, appetite, my skin starts to glow, and the list goes on and on. Not to mention the motivation to get your day started and conquer the world.

Am I… better.. than everyone? (Yes, I am quoting a Tik Tok.)

But the answer is no, if you’re not taking vitamins, you’re just not taking care of your body. This is something we should all be doing, we NEED them to FUNCTION as humans.

The least you can do is take a multi-vitamin everyday. Then based on other areas of the body you want to heal and improve, you want to incorporate vitamins tailored to the areas you essentially want to heal. My personal line up used to consist of a women’s multivitamin, Biotin (for hair, skin, and nails), Vitamin B12 (for energy levels and metabolism), Vitamin C (for immune support and antioxidants protection), Vitamin D(to combat seasonal depression and promote happiness), and the Goli Apple Cider Vitamin Gummies (because I want to be a skinny legend, LOL.) This was getting pretty pricey, so I’m not trying to get all 13 vitamins in the form of a supplement. That is what food is for. However, I was spending about $100 monthly on my vitamins. Which wasn’t the issue, I am willing to pay any price to keep my body healthy. After all we only get one in this lifetime, so respect your body and treat it like a temple.

However, I found a great alternative that is a bit more budget friendly and if you have no idea know where to start they make it super simple.

The vitamin company is called Vitable and they have simplified my vitamin regimen by a long shot. Vitable personalizes a complete pack of 5 Vitamins just for you to take monthly. All you have to do is take their short survey, which is super simple and easy. They start off with basic information, then proceed with question based on your goals, diet, and lifestyle. At the end of the survey, they will put together a suggested list of supplements specifically tailored for you and your needs. I even learned about other natural supplements that could help with the areas I was lacking in. The supplements all come in a daily packet with a 30 day supply that renews monthly and gets sent to you each month so you never run out. Not to mention the hassle of opening up 5 of those d*mn containers everyday (lol, first world problems.) Look below, they even put your name on the packaging!

My two new favorite supplements are the Ashwagandha and Vanilla Collagen Creamer they suggested. The collagen creamer I just put in my morning coffee and it helps with smooth skin, hair, and nail growth. It has replaced my daily biotin and it’s dairy free for my fellow lactose intolerant friends (BTW is you have any allergies like dairy or gluten they make sure the supplements they recommend do not contain any of those ingredients.) The Ashwagandha comes from Ayurvedic Medicine native to India and North Africa (PS do not ask me how to pronounce that, but I do really like it lol.) It contains a blend of herbs traditionally used to enhance mental clarity and focus. Which some of you may know I struggle with sometimes.

At the moment they are running some great promotions as well. I definitely recommend giving them a try. Especially if you don’t know much about vitamins, and don’t want to put in the time to even research them. They do it all for you, and use some of the best ingredients in terms of quality. It’s so simple, and simple is just what I need in my crazy life. For 25% off your first order use code TODAY25 at checkout. Boom you’re welcome, I got you guys a deal. Oh wait another one? OR 10% off over 3 months with VIT10. Lastly my 2 favorite words that I love to see together, FREE SHIPPING on orders over $30. Yeah that’s right, and you are so welcome!

To wrap this up, I will honestly say that Vitable has made taking my vitamins so much easier. I just leave them on the counter in my bathroom, right next to my toothbrush so I remember to take them each morning. At the least I recommend starting with a simple multivitamin, if you don’t already take one. Vitamins have changed my overall mental and physical health, because I started feeding my body exactly what is was lacking from my diet. I promise either way you will not only feel better but now be able focus on accomplishing more out of your life. I hope you guys give it a try and let me know how it goes for you!

Ciao for now 🙂
